I went here for an urgent eye issue. They got me in to see the doctor within 30 minutes and were very kind from the minute I walked in the door. From the reception, to the tech, and the doctor - everyone was very sincere and helpful. I will definitely be going here for my routine eye care and would recommend to anyone!
Highly recommended to anyone looking for professional yet friendly eye care! I appreciate the personal touch provided by all staff: the eye doctors, assistants, and receptionists. The reception space is clean, bright, and welcoming, as are the people who work here!

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is similar to HydraFacial in that it removes the top layer of skin to exfoliate and cleanse the skin beneath. However, instead of a comfortable solution of water and serums, microdermabrasion usually uses abrasive materials like crystal or diamond to remove the skin with friction. This can lead to redness that lasts for the rest of the day after treatment and can also cause bruising. HydraFacial treatment, on the other hand, causes no bruising, and patients leave the clinic ready to take on the world with beautiful skin.

Traditional Facials
Traditional facials conducted by hand by an esthetician can feel relaxing and luxurious. However, the extraction process, during which the esthetician cleans out individual pores by hand, can be uncomfortable. Also, traditional facials usually take an hour or longer. Alternatively, HydraFacial treatment causes virtually no physical discomfort, and the treatment can be completed in just a half an hour or less, so it's not disruptive to your busy schedule.

Chemical Peels
A chemical peel involves placing a solution over the face which then breaks down the surface-layer skin cells. When the solution is removed, a fresher, healthier layer of skin is revealed. While effective at refreshing the face's appearance, chemical peels do little to hydrate the skin, and many patients experience itching, burning, or flaking during the process. HydraFacial goes beyond simply removing the top skin layer, extracting impurities and hydrating the skin to give it a vibrant, healthy appearance.
HydraFacial Cost and Insurance Coverage

The average cost of this skin-nourishing treatment can cost in the neighborhood of a few hundred dollars per treatment, although this varies from doctor to doctor. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will be happy to discuss the actual cost of this beneficial skin treatment when you visit our inviting Chicago, IL, eye practice.
Insurance
This treatment is considered elective or cosmetic, therefore it is not usually covered by insurance unless it is being performed strictly for medical reasons. Dr. Tepper's staff can recommend trusted third-party financing to you to help make out-of-pocket fees easier to manage.
